Getting A Dental Degree
It can take six to eight years to become a dentist. First, you must spend two to four years in college, though most dental schools prefer to accept graduates with bachelor’s degrees. Next, you must enrol in an educational institution that is accredited by your state or your country. This will earn you a Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. If you wish to specialise in orthodontics, though, you need to enter into a program that will last two or three years.
